Dr. Annika Hillebrandt is an Assistant Professor in the department of Human Resource Management and Organizational Behaviour in the Ted Rogers School of Management. Her research program focuses primarily on organizational justice, behavioural ethics, and emotions. In her main line of research, she is currently examining how social context factors (e.g., coworkers’ emotions) and employees’ own behavior (e.g., ethical misconduct) impact employees’ perceptions of fairness in the workplace. Hillebrandt’s research has been supported by multiple awards from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) and she has received numerous academic honours and awards. Her research has been presented at international conferences and published in a number of leading journals, including the Journal of Applied Psychology and Social Justice Research. She also serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Business Ethics (a Financial Times Top 50 journal).
