Bio/Research
Dr. Aoran Zhang is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Ted Rogers School of Management. He received his Ph.D. in Finance from John Molson School of Business of Concordia University. Before joining the Ted Rogers School, he was an Assistant Professor of Finance at University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom. His research focuses on empirical corporate finance issues, specifically mergers and acquisitions, equity offerings, corporate governance, and climate finance. He has published several articles in the Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Banking and Finance, European Financial Management, and Journal of International Money and Finance. He currently teaches Advanced Corporate Finance at the Ted Rogers School.
