Dr. David Cramb leads The Cramb Group, a multidisciplinary, award-winning group of researchers in the Department of Chemistry and Biology at Toronto Metropolitan University. The group comprises chemists and biochemists, with a splash of physics and work out of the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute, the main lab at St. Michael’s Hospital.
With funding from an NSERC Discovery Grant, the teram explores various applications of nanotechnology to biomedicine – specifically, the use of nanomaterials for more effective diagnosis and treatment of diseases, especially cancer.
