Dr. Naylor's research is in the field of experimental and numerical heat transfer, with a focus on building energy conservation. This work involves numerical simulation using computational fluid dynamics (CFD), combined with heat transfer measurements and flow visualization. He has published over one hundred papers in refereed journals and conferences, more than twenty industry technical reports, and is the co-author of a graduate-level textbook on convective heat transfer. Dr. Naylor is also the Associate Editor of the International Journal of Transport Phenomena.
