Joanne DiNova’s areas of interest include Indigenous thought and literature, critical discourse analysis and sociolinguistics, as well as intercultural and risk communication. Her publications include Spiraling Webs of Relation: Movements Toward an Indigenist Criticism, published by Routledge in 2005. Her current research project involves a comparative analysis of English and Indigenous languages. Joanne is a member of the Couchiching First Nation.
