Dr. Mucahit Cevik’s mathematical modelling has led to systems that improve cancer screening and deliver radiation treatment more accurately to tumours while sparing healthy tissues. He has also developed operational systems in hospitals used to assess the optimal length of stay for patients in emergency departments, improving care and creating efficiencies for staff.
