Dr. Nariman Farsad is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson). Previously, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Stanford University and a Senior Machine Learning and Algorithms Researcher at Apple Inc. His current research focuses on distributed deep learning and reinforcement learning, machine learning for sensing and deep learning for video processing in virtual and augmented reality.
