Peter Fisher is an Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management at the Ted Rogers School of Management, Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson). Peter is an organizational psychologist with a background in management and computer science. Peter’s research explores the development and implementation of personnel selection practices that help to reduce bias in hiring decisions. His research has been supported by multiple awards, including the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) and the Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS), and has appeared in journals such as the International Journal of Selection and Assessment, Personality and Individual Differences, and Personnel Assessment and Decisions, in addition to various international conferences. Peter also serves as the Canadian Society for Industrial Organizational Psychology webmaster.
