Sara Edge's overarching program of research and teaching seeks to advance understandings of how risks to the environment, human health, and community well-being co-evolve with the ways in which societies govern, manage and make policy decisions. She is interested in how risks, resources, and benefits are consequently distributed across society, and related equity implications.
She is also exploring socio-cultural factors that mediate, facilitate, and constrain the health and empowerment of refugee youth.
