Dr. Shadi Farshadfar's research interests include financial reporting quality, earnings management, international accounting, disclosure regulation and accounting education. She has published in refereed academic journals, including the International Journal of Accounting, Accounting and Finance and Pacific Accounting Review. Her research papers have been presented at academic conferences such as the American Accounting Association Annual Meeting and the Canadian Academic Accounting Association Annual Conference. In 2012, Dr. Farshadfar was awarded the Ted Rogers School of Management Scholarly, Research and Creative Activity Award for research excellence.
