Dr. Zeinab Noorian is an Assistant Professor at Ted Rogers School of Information Technology Management at Toronto Metropolitan University. Prior to this, she was an Assistant Professor at Trent University. Before joining Trent, she has been NSERC Postdoctoral fellow at University of Toronto and a visiting researcher at IBM CAS from Feb 2016 to March 2018. She also has been a sessional lecturer at OntarioTech University from Sep 2018 to April 2019.
Zeinab has been the co-chair of the successful and recurring WIT-EC (Workshop on Incentives and Trust in E-Commerce) since 2012 co-located with prestigious conferences such as AAAI Conference on Artificial Intelligence, IJCAI (International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence) and EC (Electronic Commerce), and the co-chair of recurring MAISON workshop (Mining Actionable Insight from Social Media) since 2017.
She published over 10 peer-reviewed journal papers and 15 conference papers in top-tier venues such as Knowledge-based systems, Retailing and Consumer Services, JAAMAS (Journal of Autonomous Agents and Multiagent Systems), JTAER (Journal of Theoretical and Applied Electronic Commerce Research), Computational Intelligence, AAMAS (Autonomous Agents and Multi-Agent Systems), ECAI (European Conference on AI) and HT, among others.
